:: the beautiful mess ::

This is our living room today

I'm someone who can't really rest until at least the main living areas are somewhat tidy (that is, when the girls are in bed). So the sight of this (though I'm the one who created most of it!) is enough to tire me out just looking at it...

But then...why fight it when you can celebrate it?!

I mean...look at all the colours! A beautiful rainbowed 'mess' :o)

 Textures, patterns...all to give proof that we have more that enough clothes and 'stuff'

Enough books to be considered a library...albeit a small(ish) one

And despite all the toys, the most interesting objects of play for the morning were...

The bottles of various vinegars, oils and syrups :o) (I rescued the garlic cloves and onions before they joined in too!)

There is some beauty to be found among the mess. There could be profound lessons to think upon. But for now, I need to get off here and go mess with the beauty...
