Cathy

There are people who make an impact in our lives and are counted as dear friends, no matter how much distance is between us for much of the time...

This evening I took our friend Cathy to the airport for her flight back to England. We've had a wonderful two weeks with her joining us for Christmas, New Year and just a fun catch-up time. I know the girls will wake up in the morning looking for Cathy and wondering when she's going to come down the stairs!

We're thankful to count Cathy as our friend. I've known her for 6 years and worked with her during some of that time. She led the school that we were both involved with on the sailing boat The Next Wave in 2007/2008 - an epic 4-month adventure from England to Turkey & then 3 months in the Middle East. I just love Cathy's contagious optimism and encouragement and her great love for people. She does a wonderful work with reconciliation and justice particularly involved in the Middle East, Rwanda and more recently looking into Nigeria, training people who work in areas of conflict. What a treasure she is and what a gift to have been able to catch up, spend time, and play countless games with these last couple of weeks!

We love you, Cathy!

Hi! Thanks :) Yes, I love the jammies too! I managed to get them second-hand & am getting as much use out of them as possible before little bodies grow too big!
