:: Puddle jumpers ::

We ventured out on Saturday with the girls to do some sledding on a hill in the village. The warmer, sunny weather has already melted significant amounts of snow and made it rather soft to walk in. So the sledding was soon abandoned. But the puddles beckoned. Puddles are a whole new ballgame. And they drew both girls like magnets...inviting some good splashing fun! There were a few quick rescues as little bottoms plopped down in the middle of the puddles, until one made an unplanned face plant. She was quickly rescued and changed, quite unphased, just spluttering a little from the surprise of a cold face wash (and not a very clean one!).

Today it was cooler with a cold wind blowing through, so outside play was limited. But fun at Grandpapa's & Grandmaman's nonetheless...

Followed by a bit of indoor Duplo fun and a yummy dinner...

Later this afternoon we enjoyed a walk through a little nearby village and its surrounding fields. We returned home with fresh, rosy cheeks...ready for bed and the new week to begin!
