Here we go!

I've been humming and ha-ing about whether or not to join the blog world. Just recently I discovered the world of blogging mums, which has seemingly endless depths of creativity, colours, crafts, children, thoughts on life, among other things...and a fun sense of community. It's been a fun discovery to make for a living-far-away-from-home mummy!

My main reason for getting into this is that, now that the girls are coming up to their first year, I won't keep writing monthly email updates to our faithful family, friends and followers who have kept in touch so keenly over the last adventurous year. Now you can come here and see what we get up to :)
The girls are indeed almost one, which is hard to believe! A year ago this weekend they gave us quite a shock and arrived waaay too early. Now they have multiplied their 710g and 700g birth weights by 10 and are happy, healthy, joyful little girls who brighten our lives!
I made this video last week as a reminder of our past year - a picture of what we've experienced and all we can be thankful for...

Wow Remailiah!
That was beautiful!
Your girls are such little treasures.
Love their smiles.
LOVE that you are landed in Blogland!!
I see you are keen to read the book - you know you can read/review ANY book to take part?
And since you are a brand new blogger, the linky would be a great way for you to get people to come over and visit you; I would send you the "code" and tell you what to do. So if you want to be a linky host... make sure you comment on that Mrs Readalot post my dear!
So pleased you are blogging :)
xx

Ooh thanks for your comment Simoney!! My first follower and commenter :) I would love to read the book...just not sure about leading a review, because I've never done something like that. But then, I'm down the list so I can see how it's done...and have a go anyway, right? :)
Hope your day has gone well! x

Wow - I just came across this - what a beautiful tribute - brought back so many memories for me - TEARS! I have a similar one I did for my eldest daughters first birthday (she was born very sickly at 31 weeks). Congratulations on them turning one - I can imagine you've had quite a year - you look like an amazing Mumma - good on you xxx
